Not Brentford

East of St Lawrence's Church

This view was taken from a few yards to the east of St Lawrence's churchyard, looking east along the High Street.

At the traffic lights Tallow Road is signed to the left, leading to Brenford Lock. Naked Grain is at 192 High Street. The Magistrates Court clock in Market Place.

On the right, nearest the camera the entrance visible was originally to Spantons Timberyard, see 1971 photo. Beyond are some survivors, nearest is no. 134.

Thanks to Dave Stoneleigh who provided this photograph, taken on June 28th 2008 during the Brentford Festival weekend.
