View from Brentford Bridge towards The Ham

Six storey flats and view along the High Street

View from the south side of Brentford High Street looking eastwards towards The Ham, signposted between numbers 151 & 152. The second turning on the right is Augustus Close.

The sign for the Six Bells pub at no. 149 is just visible to the right, near to the Metroline bus, a no. 237, destination Hounslow Heath.

To the left is part of the Brentford Lock development.

A postcard of New Brentford shows a similar view from around 100 years earlier.

Thanks to Dave Stoneleigh who provided this photograph, taken on June 28th 2008 during the Brentford Festival weekend.
