Maud Connell

Maud ConnellDonna Mills wrote in 2020 about her great aunt, Maud Connell, who is thought to have worked at Ranton's, Commerce Road, during the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s. She adds Maud was born in Kensington in 1914 as Maud Turner and married William Connell in 1941 in Hounslow.

Maud ConnellMaud may have worked as a training officer at Ranton's.

Since a first photo of Ranton's was published in 2011, there have been numerous contacts from people who worked here - read more.
Chris Mundell is one of the contributors and she also has a request...

Frank Lewry

Chris Mundell's father, Frank Lewry, was a plastics designer and technical director of Ranton's. He was President of the 25 year club and has such happy memories of his working life there: I would love to find someone who knew my father.

If you can help Donna or Chris please get in touch.
