St Lawrence, Brentford

Parish church of New Brentford, St Lawrence

Howard Webb sent this postcard image showing the parish church of New Brentford, St Lawrence, added to the site at a time when the area around the church is under development

The photo was taken around 1913 and Howard adds 'the splurge in the middle is damage on the negative, quite common.'

The annotation W.H.A. 3318 shows this card was published by W.H. Applebee.

The site has several other Applebee cards; search on the home page for Applebee to view them. One card, W.H.A. 3316, showing Brentford Bridge and Walter Roberston's Toffee Factory, has a similar reference number and presumably was taken at around the same time.

See notes about the church and vicarage.
