Jeanne Whitby has provided this photo, which has been scanned by Diane Lockie. Jeanne thinks it dates from around 1938 and it shows Cressage Road approaching the Pottery Road junction.This was originally a sepia photo. The two ladies are possibly Sunday School teachers from the Old Town Mission (which was situated where the County Court is now).
